 09.23

Casa Stella Maris, Caorle, Italy.

Rising after a busy night with President Obama in an arising situation. The President was indicating a photograph of Winston Churchill, implying it should be included in photos with him. This suggested that the President intended to convey an impression of quasi war-time leadership. A NightWorld adventure.

Morning sitting at 07.15.

Breakfast at 08.00.
Comments on whizzing, and the 60-point circulation.
Brother Francesco gained a better understanding of what we do after Adriano explained our approach to presence (Seven Assumptions For Work In The Circle).

13.44    Good personal meetings with authentic concerns.

A guitar meeting at 12.30, continuing the development of the First Primary and introducing a beginning-overview of the Second Primary.

A little late-to-lunch at 13.07, such was the excitement in the room at this vast range of opening-possibilities.
Tasty soup and the afternoon’s work called.

21.04 An afternoon with the Writing Project and practicing.

Introducing a morning exercise, in the Chapel, at 17.30.
Personal meetings continuing afterwards until dinner at 19.00.

A 10-piece ensemble played Frame By Frame.
Followed by a sudden eruption of noise. We are in the Middle.
Silence visited strongly shortly afterwards.
Various Comments presented, moving towards a consensus that we are in the Middle and good to shake things up a little!
Great dulce de leche crepes.

22.11    House Of Guitars / Chamber Orchestra at 21.30.

The Chamber Orchestra in two concentric Circles, 18 guitars in the Outer, 7 guitars in the Inner Circle.
No words: and three improvs beginning spontaneously.
Outer Circle: when ready, please begin! Rather limp.
Inner Circle, when ready, please begin! Rather wonderful.
Three signalled chords.
C. 35 minutes in all, with good work.

The Guitar Ensemble Of Europe is now underway.
